Étude des Matériaux par Microscopie Avancée (LEMMA)
n this presentation, I will provide an overview of my past and future research work. Since my PhD, synthesis and characterization of carbon and low-dimensional materials have always been at the heart of my research interests. The presentation will mainly focus on the use of advanced transmission electron microscopy for the study of 2D materials, from synthesis to properties. The challenges are to push the technical limit to access to various atomic-scale information on one side, and to unveil the mysteries hidden in these atomically thin layers on the other side. I will demonstrate the capability of the advanced (S)TEM developed for 2D materials study in the laboratory, showing several previous and ongoing works carried out with young researchers.
