The Modeling and Exploration of Materials (MEM) laboratory conducts research on the exploration of materials and devices using advanced simulation methods and experimental characterization techniques (electron microscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance, X-ray or neutron diffraction or scattering techniques, etc.). It also welcomes external users to the French CRG beamlines at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF synchrotron) and the neutron beamlines at the Institut Laue L​angevin (ILL), as well as to the Minatec nanocaracterization platform (PFNC).
