The "Advanced protein/protein or protein/ligand binding energy estimator" project, a collaboration between Michel Masella (Institut Joliot, CEA-Saclay) and Luigi Genovese (Institut IRIG, CEA-Grenoble) was awarded a Sanofi iTech Awards November 2020.
This project, based on the coupling of the POLARIS(MD) (multi-scale molecular simulation, and BIGDFT (massively parallel quantum chemistry code) codes, aims to develop a numerical tool for the optimization of large complex molecular assemblies of antibody/antigen type, assemblies which constitute one of the development axes of the Sanofi group in the field of biotechnology (in particular for its center in Vitry-sur-Seine).
